In July 2006, I was selected as one of four artists to paint a column in the Amherst MA parking garage, as part of their art commissions city beautification. My work and original design print is being shown throughout Amherst, along with a few pages of my Children's Book "The Kite"

My design was selected for the annual Bridge Of Flowers Classic! A road race held annually in Shelurne Falls MA each spring. Twelve designs were on display through November for people to cast their votes, and I was notified that they picked mine! Here is the press release and the design!

Bridge of Flowers Road Race Announces Winner of Tee Shirt Design Contest Shelburne Falls, Mass.) The Bridge of Flowers Road Race has a new official shirt for 2006. The winner of the design contest for the 2006 race tee shirt is Arno Pinsonnault of Bondsville, Massachusetts. Mr. Pinsonnault submitted a painting of the Bridge of Flowers, which was selected by the road race's five-member judging committee over eleven other competing designs.

The twelve designs entered in the competition were displayed at Mocha Maya's Café in Shelburne Falls during the month of November. Over 170 area residents cast ballots for their preferred design, to help guide the judges' decision. As the winner, Mr. Pinsonnault receives a $400 artist commission. His design will be displayed on 1,000 shirts produced for the 2006 Bridge of Flowers Classic 10k and 2-mile road races, which will take place Saturday, August 12, 2006. The design contest was sponsored by Mocha Maya's Café and Silver Screen Design, a Greenfield-based tee-shirt printing company which will produce the 2006 race tee shirt. Birds & Blooms June/July 2006 Issue
Birds & Blooms published a photo of a Hummingbird that I took in our back yard in their Reader's Scrapbook section! All of their photography is by readers, and they have some incredible pictures, so I was thrilled to see mine get in the magazine.
